"This
very ambitious venture is the project of the whole Ummah [worldwide
Muslim nation]. I call on people of this nation to support this
great project each according to his or her abilities:
Wealthy Muslims can contribute money out of their zakah [obligatory
alms according to Islamic teachings], regular charities, continuous
charities, and their wills.
Intellectuals
should contribute to this project, publishing papers and their
research findings so that people all over the world can benefit from
them.
Artists and technicians should also give us the benefit of their
expertise and knowledge in the service of this project.
As for those who cannot contribute with either money, knowledge, or
expertise, we ask them to pray for us and for the success of this
huge work. We are in dire need for their spiritual support and their
prayers."
